2009 Grants for Regatta Transportation

In support of area youth sailors as they compete on the national stage, The Sailing Foundation provides grants to traveling teams equal to half of their airfare.

The following teams received grants in 2009:

• Bainbridge Sailing Club - ISSA Team Racing Championship in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Orcas Island High School Sailing Team - ISSA Doublehanded Championship in Florida
• University of Washington Sailing Team - ICSA Doublehanded Semi-Finals in Boston
• University of Washington Sailing Team - ICSA Team Racing Championship in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Western Washington University Sailing Team - ICSA Doublehanded Semi-Finals in Boston
• Western Washington University Sailing Team - ICSA Team Racing Championship in the San Francisco Bay Area
• University of Oregon Sailing Team - Georgetown University and other East Coast venues
