Coaches' Clinic - 2009

On January 31, 2009, The Sailing Foundation hosted the second annual Coaches' Clinic at the Seattle Yacht Club-Elliott Bay Outstation. The featured guest speaker was Steve Hunt, author of Teaching Team Racing 2008 and the coach of the highly successful Point Loma High School Team.

In addition to Steve's discussion about teaching team racing, Sailing Foundation's board member, Dick Rose, who serves on the ISAF rules committee and who's been a key member of the group drafting the changes in racing rules for 2009-2012, presented two papers - a comparison of Old and New Section C Rules and a handout on Part 2 Rules (Right of Way Rules)
